What do you get when you combine one Talib Kweli with one Mos Def? One of the dopest albums ever cut!!! Mos and Kweli deliver on every track and leave you looking for more when the cd is over. Both have made their place amongst the top of hip hop today with their ability to ride beats with thoughtful lyrics and create music with meaning. If you ask me, a lot of rap is monotonous today, but there are a few artists that stick out and two of them are on this album. Another typical letdown in rap are the artists that are featured on cds, but there was no letdown here. The song that Common appears on is one of my favorite tracks and the three emcees blend together nicely on the "Respiration!" If you haven't heard this cd, you are missing out. If you don't have this cd, you better find the cash and grab it now. There is no doubt this is an all around classic!
