Talib Kweli's 1st solo album shows creative genius!

Talib Kweli's first solo album is appealing and entertaining because he not only amazes you with great thoughtful lyrics, but also b/c he can rhyme quite good and he has great flow. This new album of his showcases truthful and inspiring lyrics more so than his previous two albums ( which were with mos def and hi-tek). The radio hit "get by" is only one of many other heartfelt songs including "joy" and "where do we go". The album does have its lowpoints such as the more r&bish type songs like "talk to you". Despite this minor problem, the cd is fairly solid. An instant gem.
