There are a lotta artists in the game with skill but aint coming wit something new to the table. Talib Kweli drops his debut solo album "Quality" but to me its like his second because he was the only one who rhymed on "Reflection Eternal" and Hi-Tek just laced the beats. But anyway this cd is incredible. The lyrics, the production, everything. I had no doubt that Kweli could do a album on his own. Mos Def appears on one track but just adlibs. Hi-Tek doesnt show up on this one because on money issues with Rawkus. Kweli shows his versatile side by dropping a radio song and love songs. Hes a refreshment from all the garbage in todays hip hop music. My favorite tracks on this cd are Get By, Shock Body, Gun Music, Waitin for the DJ, Stand To The Side. But to me the whole cd is tight. When I listen to it, I just let it play. All thats left for you to do is pick up the album, you won't be disapointed. Peace.
