Along with MESOPATAMIA, it's their greatest yet

"Give Me Back My Man," "Private Idaho," "53 Miles West of Venus," etc., we all know and (if we're tuned in properly) live by these songs. However, it was the day when "Dirty Back Road" finally hit me that I truly saw God. Along with the gorgeously remixed version of MESOPATAMIA, this is one of the all-time greats. The B-52's are one of the few acts/bands (Little Richard, The Ramones, etc.) who know better than to take rock too seriously (except for the few lapses on GOOD STUFF - oops!), and therefore make moving, soul stirring and ironically profound music.
