Simply Amazing

Considering that I am a huge fan of the Bee Gees, my opinion of this album may be considered biased. I would not, however, be a fan if it wasn't for this One Night Only concert. I'm 14, and around the time that this first came out, I had been fooled into believing that boy bands and all the other top 40 artists made good records. Boy, was I mislead! From the minute that I heard the incredible harmonies in such songs as "To Love Somebody" and "Nights on Broadway", and the awesome lyrics and melody lines on tracks like "I Started A Joke" and "How Deep Is Your Love", I was hooked! The Bee Gees work in music is BRILLIANT. This only showcases the immense talent of the Brothers Gibb that has made them one of the greatest songwriting teams of all time, and one of the most enduring acts of all time. Even if you're not a fan, give this album a listen. Maybe you'll discover that you have a new favorite band. I did.
