I grew up as a kid in the 70s listening these guys. I've been a fan for years. When I saw thier concert on PBS, I too, just had to have this CD. Fortunatly, I got it as a gift, and it's one of my favorite CD's, and it gets a lot of play in my car.This is one of the best greatest hits live type CD's I've ever heard. Every hit song from the late 60's to the early 90s that the Gibb Brothers sang or wrote is on this CD. My favorites songs are "To Love Somebody", "Massachussets", and "Lonely Days,Lonely Nights" I also liked the accoustic version of "Nights on Broadway";it's a nice new take on a great song. One of the most touching moments of the CD was "Our Love (don't throw it all away), the Gibb's duet with thier late brother, Andy. I also like the brother's Gibb duet with Celene Dion on "Immorality". I confess that I wasn't crazy about it at first, but after quite a few listens, this song has really grown on me. A couple minor quibbles--it would have been nice if Barry Gibb could have included Barbra Striesand on "Guilty". Somehow, the song doesn't sound the same without her. Also, although the Bee Gees orignally wrote "Islands in the Stream", and it sounds great on this Cd, I must admit that I like Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton's version of it much better. (Sorry, guys, but I'm a big fan of Kenny and Dolly). All in all, if you're a new to the Bee Gee's music, or a longtime fan, this CD is a must have.
