Once upon a time, the Black Crowes were one of the best bands around. I thought Three Snakes... was disappointing, but I think that album is stronger than this one. The songs sound silly, with ridiculous lyrics and strained choruses that sound almost like glam-rock (Kickin' my Heart Around). If they don't turn things around, it looks like a once great band has burned out quickly.
