Led Crowes

Review Score: StarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStar (6/10)
The Black Crowes have produced their most riff-heavy album, no suprise given last year's gig as Jimmy Page's backing band.

Overall, this is a good thing, given the churning riffs of "Lickin," "Come On, Come On," and "Cypress Tree" (even if it nicks the riff from Southern Harmony and Musical Companion's "No Speak, No Slave").

What's not so good is the lack of solos, especially distressing given lead guitarist Audley Freed's steller ability to shred. Come on boys, give Audley a break!
