Kickin' & Fun!

Chris Robinson sings like he's someone else. With some more definite lyrics (his sometimes seemed like forced hippy-isms), a smokin' band behind, one of the greatest guitarists ever by his side, Chris loses his sometimes overly mannered style and sounds pretty pure as a Plant imitator. It works. The only drawback for me is that it's largely reproducing Zeppelin. I think an interesting Crowes' interpretation or two would have been fun. To hear Rich try some of his Keef cliche stuff. However playing Zep got them to Lions which is their best album yet, and this is just a kickin' good time. Great for the car!
