Classic clasic classic. Any zep fan would love this. Any music fan will love this. Tracks such as "In my time of dying" and "Nobody's Fault But Mine" are as good if not better than the originals.

I have to admit I am not a big Crowes fan. They have some great songs, but I found it difficult to really get into them. This album has everything a live rock album should though. It's beefy, loud, aggressive, rough, and almost leaves you out of breath as they wind up "Whole Lotta Love". The zep songs sprinkled with Peter Green tracks are a joy to listen to.

Page, although laboured in some parts, still has that fat Les Paul sound. Any zep fan instantly knows his licks. The crowes do a great job in getting the live sound just right. Songs, which Page would have found difficult to play live at his prime, come off as they were supposed to sound...kickin'.

For all those zep fans who were waiting for "the live album", this more than matches up. Push "The song remains the same" to the back of your collection. Get Page & the Crowes (and the BBC Sessions Live).
