Jimmy and the Crows do it right

An excellent live album that lives up to it's expectations. With the addition of the Black Crow's guitar foundation, Jimmy Page was able to faithfully reproduce several Classic Zep tunes in a live venue. Many cuts from Physical Graffiti are difficult to reproduce live due to the fact that Page used so much over dubbing in the original recordings. A live performance was impossible... until now.

The Black Crows add a fresh raw sound that could never be accomplished by any session player attempting to simply back up Page. It was a match made in guitar heaven. Although the recent Page/Plant work is an art work in it's own right, the Page/Crows work was a necessity to express the rich and warm soul that exist in the early Zep Rock/blues work.
