If you liked UNDER THE MILKYWAY, this is MUST HAVE!

Sometime in the mid-to late eighties, I was frequenting my favorite, now long defunct record store (yes, vinyl-so maybe I'm not so young anymore!) near my college campus when I stumbled upon HEYDAY in the new arrival section. I spun the vinyl, and was utterly intoxicated by some of the songs, such as MYRRH and COLUMBUS. The lusty chime of their layered Rickenbackers, and the soothing, breathy vocals were a wonderful respite from the harsh, buzzsaw guitars of my time. Perhaps, you too will fall into a dreamy love with The Church and HEYDAY. *******
