Unfortunately one of my least favorite U2 albums

I was rather dissapointed with this album especially after the dynamite first single "Beautiful Day" which is arguably among the best songs they've ever written.

Much of this album feels too much like they 'chickened out' on the experimental styles they did during the 1990s and went back into retread and while it's good in some ways, other ways it's dissapointing.

Most of these songs are relatively forgettable and not on par with much of what U2 did during their 20 year career.

"Walk On" and "Beautiful Day" are the best songs on this album but the rest are ho-hum for me. "Stuck in a Moment" is incredibly boring and adds nothing to U2's legacy with me.

Don't put this on the 'must-have' list. While I'm not saying that I don't recommend this album, you won't get a whole lot out of it.

Dissapointing otherwise not all that bad. Just doesn't meet my expectations. Maybe they'll bounce back on their next outing.
