U2 is back, jack. Well not anymore, but they were. They will be, someday. At u2.com Bono said the new album is "a monster, dragon" and it's coming, baby! This is the first U2 cd I ever got. Believe it or not I only listened to the 1st 5 songs for about a year. Boy was I missing out! You want details, oh I've got details, baby.

1. Beautiful Day (10/10)- Hard rock, with ringing guitars and great lyrics. The band seens to push the music at the chorus. Great video! Dark glasses Bono is my favorite Bono. Eno and Lanois simthrox this baby nice. GREAT LIVE Won 3 Grammys

2. Stuck in a Moment (10/10)- Flexible because it can be played acousticly (Try playing Beautiful Day acoustic) and it's got a nice end. Almost a #1. Won a Grammy

3. Elevation (10/10)- It could fit on Pop, but not all that "popish"... it's rock, baby! That "whoohoo" Bono does before each verse is awesom... baby!

4. Walk On (10/10)- Next ONE... I don't think so; One is slow, soft, beautiful. Walk On is loud, booming energetic... Bono bought a new guitar, sweet. Won same Grammy as Beautiful Day a year later.

5. Kite (10/10)- Some people call this the best song on the album. It's great and desves to be single. It isn't, is it. No it's not. No, no...no. Oh well, cacthy, smooth, and concert worthy songs like this are only met for people who buy the album. Am I right, owners?

6. In a Little While (10/10)- Alright, this one grew on me. I used to hate it. Bono could be talking about his wife who he married at 22 and was his HS sweetheart.

7. Wild Honey (10/10)- see #6 but add in acoustic guitar.

8. Peace on Earth (10/10)- Feeling is everything, everything. Lot of words, and awesome tune.

9. When I Look at the World (10+)- Alright, the climax. The best, baby, the best. At 4:15, this song is without a lot of guitars but when they come they are great. Catchyest chorus (Bono tries those high notes again) and catchyest verses. I have to say it means something about what you see when you look at the world. sa'right.

10. New York (10/10)- What do you know 100/100. Great, isn't it. Of course this is MY opinion. New York is summing up U2's resurretion, pop, rock, guitar, Eno, Lanois, shades, dead voice, ok voice, skull cap, t shirt, Bono, Edge, solo, lemon.

11. Grace (5/10)- Why U2, you were so close to perfect. TOO slow TOO lame I can't...
