U2 Just Keeps on Truckin'!

I just can't stand it with U2. The talent oozes out of them on every album. No matter what they try, they rarely disappoint.

Something wonderful about almost all of U2's music is the emotions that every song evokes. This is no different on "All that You Can't Leave Behind". I went through a VERY rough time in my life in 2001 and this CD was my best friend as well as my therapy. If a CD can touch you in so deep a way, it is worthwhile.

Now when I listen to this CD, I not only hear the comforting words that seemed as if they were written for me, but also a SOLID, catchy, great CD.

The words are so uplifting: "Stuck In A Moment You Can't Get Out Of" almost perfectly describes what happens to so many of us in life and this song is the words of a friend to another friend trying to help him out of the moment: "It's just a moment, this time will pass." It is one of the nicest things you could say to someone if you say it with concern and care.

Also, Beautiful Day is not only extremely optimistic and positive in the midst of having life fall down around you, but it rocks like almost no other U2 song this side of Sunday, Bloody Sunday.

Please don't fall into the "elitist" rut of saying if it's catchy, it must be a sell-out. Listen to this CD for what it is: uplifting, emotional, catchy, and DAMN good musicianship. 5 stars isn't enough.
