I liked this album. But then, I also love Jesus. As with October, if you don't love Jesus you probably won't be moved by ATYCLB. After Achtung Baby!, Zooropa and Pop, three albums that demonstrate how God is supposed to be dead in the developed world and the band is being tempted by materialism and hopelessness, U2 shows they have stomped out the devil and are as creative as they've ever been. There's no better way to explain why they've lasted so long and their fan base is as big as ever.
