I Know That This Is Not Goodbye

This album is all about the "Kite." Maybe U2's best song and I can't just throw that around, as I have loved them since "The Unforgettable Fire." It's the perfect combination of epic and intimate, and the sound is something new for them. I think the album peters out a little after "In a Little While," but those first five songs or so prove that "Pop" was just an arch experiment. "Atomic Bomb" ranks with "Joshua Tree," though. Just a thought. I'm glad they didn't release "Kite" as a single. It still sounds fresh.
