A classic collection of classics

This CD is a collection of the best of U2's earlier work. You can hear the evolution of the band in terms of the issues they deal with as well as their sonic manifestations. Youthful energy gives way to wisdom and clarity. I love the new material that U2 continues to generate, but this collection captures the essence of the band. Music with a purpose. Music that is art. Music that is substative.
