Great collection but why buy this?

First and foremost this is a great album full of 14 of their most well-known singles from their first decade of their career and shwocased the pinnacle that they reached with 1987's "The Joshua Tree" with unforgettable anthems like "With Or Without You", "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For", and "Where The Streets Have No Name" and also lifted some tracks from their critically panned "Rattle & Hum". There are also many great songs outside of these albums too like "Bad", and "New Years DaY".

However, I feel that this CD hardly offers anything new outside "Sweetest Thing" which I don't find all that remarkable by U2 standards. This CD almost feels like it was rushed and sloppily put together by means of shortening some of the songs and it ruins them by doing that. They could've put in "Gloria" and some songs from "October" too. However, while I don't recommend this edition, I highly recommend going for the 2-CD edition of this album with the second CD of 15 B-Sides as they are great songs. Still overall, I must say that this album was better executed than the 1990-2000 collection was.
