If you are new to U2, start here. This CD offers an excellent selection of their greatest hits. Despite what hard-core fans say, these tracks define the U2 sound. Poetic and inspired lyrics. Wildly beautiful instrumental passages.

Most of the tracks here are of timeless quality. Feel free to refer to their original albums if you like these tracks, but don't always expect the same quality - some of them will sound dated, 80's.

For U2 fans like myself, this album is a good focal point of their best early work; it is a must-have one-stop shop for U2's best. I don't have space for 20 CDs in my car :)
