Greatest? It's a start

Ok, well as a die hard U2 fan I am disappointed in this CD. I probably wouldn't of bought it except I got the addition with the B-Sides. The B-Sides alone would be a 5 Star disc.

However, I realize that greatest hits are typically targetted at the casual fan who doesn't own any material and wants all the "hits". In this case the CD delivers. It includes the single versions of all their singles.

My complaint as a U2 fan is that it isn't necessarily all their greatest songs. This album should of been titled "Singles 1980 - 1990" instead of best of. Songs that I could of been on this cd, their best: "40", One Tree Hill (included on some import versions), A Sort of Homecoming, and Tomorrow. October is a nice addition at the end and they probably could of left off Angel of Harlem. Last of all, I am greatly disappointed in the version of Where the Streets Have No Name which is a single version without the dramatic intro that makes it my favorite song of all time.
