One great U2 collection.

This is a good U2 "starter" CD. It is a decent overview of their "80's" material including the trio tracks from The Joshua Tree, Pride (In The Name of Love), New Year's Day (albeit in edited form), Sunday Bloody Sunday and a slew of songs from Rattle and Hum.

Two complaints.

a) no Gloria and Two Hearts That Beat As One

b) too much material from Rattle and Hum (I would only settle with Desire and Angel of Harlem)

I really don't mind the "edited" versions of songs as long as it doesn't detract from my listening experience (others may disagree).

For beginners, get this CD along with Achtung Baby and hopefully you'll get some of the picture.
