Do yourself a favor if you want to listen to the wonderful original music of this band.
Go out and buy all of the U2 albums one by one starting from the newest to the oldest while skipping over POP. ...
Leave that album for when you are thirsting for some new material after collecting the entire dicography.

You will not find a band from the 80's through today that has WRITTEN
and recorded more original era defining music than U2.
In a day and age were over-produced POP music is everywhere and bands sell themselves by dressing scantily and boasting about their riches on MTV.

U2 just wants to play old fashioned Rock-N-Roll with songs that have meaning either politically or spiritually.

This (Hits) album is only 10% of the quality music that U2 has to offer any fan.

If you are a real fan of music than you will enjoy listening to songs written by the band playing the tunes.
Each U2 album has its own sound and theme and without listening to the songs in that format, you turn these tunes into radio POP music.
We dont need any more of that do we?
