Great compilation... the double-CD version is even better!

This might as well be one of those rare exceptions where the essence of a band is summarized well in a "Best of..." recording. The album focuses on studio recordings by the band before 1990 (don't look for any post-Achtung Baby material here!) plus one new track, "Sweetest Thing," a nice tune which sounds like a preparation for "All That You Can't Leave Behind, U2." If you get a chance, though, try to get a copy of the DOUBLE version of the album ([IMPORT] [EXTRA TRACKS]), which is filled with B-sides which come greatly appreciated for those of us who never got a chance of listening to some of those more rare old works.
