U2 spat on our faces again
Review Score:

(2/10)
From the beginning to the end, this album is nothing but 11 iPod commercials, implying just a big marketing propaganda that want us to buy every U2 soup, nevermind how bad the album itself is.
All this brianwashed attention to every new U2 release makes the band remaining as 4 men who don't have to work anymore to make all the money they want once again.
Let's face the truth: anyone could have done this album, because there're too much filler, sounds from previous albums, the same guitars and production, the same mixing, etc. Therefore, this isn't a new album, rather is a compilation from their recent outtakes, courtesy of All That You Can't Leave Behind.
The band has been roughly the same since 2000, that's ironic, because what made U2 Gods was their awesome ability to create a whole new world of music with every new U2 album, at least until Pop.
With this corporate product U2 shows they have aged badly. This hyped bomb goes just for the mindless teens. For worse, all that iPod publicity makes this bomb just something to throw away.
Like what's feeling most of U2 fans, I don't need this iPod soundtrack. I didn't buy it and I won't do it.
Listen to the 90's U2 instead.
