U2 is a band with power and grace, along with a world wide following rivalling that of the Beatles. "Bomb" is an album release that forgets all of that and remembers how this band started, and the music that propelled them to the superstardom they have now acheived. Dispite all of the popularity they have already acheived, the experimental music they have created, and the political crusading Bono has done on the side, this band has come together again to create a masterpiece. "Bomb" goes somewhere this band has not been since "War", their souls. With heart wretching lyrics in "Miracle Drug" to the memory of making it in "City of Blinding Lights" the songs on this album encompass the emotions of the small Irish band we have come to know and love. U2 stood up and made an album they were proud of and with music they were insired with. Producing work like this is why U2 is still the biggest band in the world, and why they will continue to be together, making great music of the soul until their dying day.
