Wow! There are so many cynical reviewers...they probably took a quick listen and pushed it aside to listen to some other overplayed, formulated, heartless poop that smells up the airwaves these days.
U2's latest work requires the audience to open up its psyche to receive the love and power of a truly personal and courageous masterpiece. One or two listens wont cut it. Their total committment to each track is reflected by technical excellence AND soul. But you gotta open up your soul to it and give it a chance...otherwise you will miss an opportunity to let some damn good music do what its supposed to do. Either way, it stands alone.
