U2 are still inspiring.

If you are going to judge this whole album on the basis of Vertigo, you have got it all wrong. That song is fun, fluffy radio and I-Pod friendly stuff, but there is so much more to this album. This is deep, heartfelt work that is right up there with the best music they have ever created. Some of the standouts in my opinion are "Miracle Drug", "One Step Closer" and "Sometimes You Can't Make it on Your Own". In the album sleeve there was special thanks given to Noel Gallagher on "One Step Closer" so you Oasis fans should find something to like as well.
