How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb (HTDAAB)

One of the most overrated bands ever

The Same Identity: An overexposed artist aging badly.
U2 have achieved cult status among world's music, but now they're turned down major international music company offers, as Elvis did by 70's.

This album is just full of clichés and Pop Stars sunglasses. How To Dismantle whatever is plenty of tricks and treats. The "new" video All Because Of You says it all: A joke of themselves. They still think they're playing Where The Streets Have No Name at the rooftop. Tragic.

Avoiding the hype altogether, "How To sell propaganda and iPod" is certainly an ominous omen for the band's fortunes. The record is the group's weakest effort in two decades.
Scheme is the same: whole chunks must be copied but hidding that evident lack of creativity by marketing the failed album as "instant classic", "return to their roots", etc. That's enough to sell millions, after all they're "U2". At least that's what they want us to think.

They pretend to be U2, but they aren't U2 anymore. They are a portrait of their artistic decadence.
