U2's uncelebrated classic

To all you fans out there who didn't like this album, you've obviously missed something. POP is certainly one of U2's best albums, even if you've never even heard of it. The story is that the band was too busy preparing for their mega PopMart tour that they didn't have any time to actually promote the album. Had they done a better job of that, this might have been hailed by music fans (and not just music critics) as an amazing album. The first five tracks (basically the songs you've already heard) range from 'good' to 'great', and the last seven tracks are just one masterpiece after another.
Trust me on this one--give it a spin, and you can thank me later.
