One thing is for certain, this is not "The Unforgettable Fire". If you can get past that, you should come to love this as much as the rest. This and "Zooropa" were absolutely neccessary in "U2's" evolution, and I personnally wouldn't want to hear "The Joshua Tree" repeated 4 times. A huge Lemon at the concerts, and Bono with a shaved head take a back-seat to the excellent music within. It does have more of a techno/disco vibe to it than their other albums, but not overwhelmingly so. And those who say this sounds rushed and unfinished, I think they say that because they hear other people say it. The songs "Do you feel loved" and "If you wear that velvet dress" are awesome, and "Please" really should have been on the "Best of 1990-2000". Bottom line, is put this in your stereo, and let your speakers snap, crackle, and "Pop".
