one of the most underrated albums of all time

yes this is a great album. a marvelous album. U2 at another glimmering moment probably due to the aid of a disco ball but who cares? This album is so textured rich and yet misuderstood that it is amazing. So many people down play it but it is one of their best records. It's not War or the Joshua Tree or even Achtung Baby, but it's not supposed to be. Pop is a great album for many reasons. It's rock, dance, anthem, intimate, and pop wrapped in a 12 song set that is just completely deserving of a worthy audience. with songs like "gone" and "if she wears that velvet dress" being some of the bands finest work, there is no reason you should not like this record unless you have bad taste.
