"Discotheque" isn't the grand start you would hope for, but's it a good song. "Mofo" is a very good rocking song. They started off the their show in Dallas with this number. And it probably should have started the album off. At least I think it should have. "If God Will Send His Angels" was my favorite song off this album, and it's still a great song. A little depressing, but's it's a nice song. "Staring at the Sun" is the hit from this album and is a lot like Achtung's style. It's got a nice feel to it. "Last Night on Earth" is another rocking song that just gets your blood flowing. "Gone" is another good song. "Please" is my favorite song on this album and one of the most intricate songs the band has ever written. Some great bass guitar parts here as well and a killer guitar part by the Edge. What a song. "Wake Up Dead Man" is a good song, though I'm not much on the lyrics. Jesus is not dead, he's alive. Bono is a Christian and should know that. But let's not go into that to much. I can't stand the song "Miami" and despise "The Playboy Mansion" almost as much. The rest of the songs are great filler songs. But they are just filler songs. This is a great U2 album nonetheless.
