Anyone expecting a change from Achtung Baby and Zooropa won't be disappointed. However, it just seems empty. Certain songs such as Gone, Dischoteque, The Playboy Mansion, and Last Night on Earth all sound very juvenile and unexperienced. However, Please, If God Will Send His Angels, and Staring At The Sun are very heavy songs that make you want to take a breath before proceeding. If God Will... is this album's One. The overall atmosphere of the album ruins the experience. The cheap 70s setting is meant to be a joke but I don't think anyone get's it. Who came up with a dumb idea like PopMart anyways? If you're in it for the music, step right up. If you're looking for something to make you think, turn back to Achtung baby and Zooropa.
