Could've been so much better...

(6/10)If only they had asked Ron Nevison to produce the album ! Even if the songs on "Covenant" are less impressive then on "Walk on water", a good production can help a lot. Schenker's guitar doesn't leap out of your speakers and when you listen to the drums you'd think this is a cheap demo ... Furthermore UFO needs a power-drummer like Andy Parker and this is not what Aynsley Dunbar is all about. As for the bonus live cd, this is nothing but a collection of unmixed, bad versions of good songs.(a bootleg ?) To me,a good record starts with a good sound and if I give "Covenant" 3 stars it's because I believe that a good remix can change everything.
