A good one to pass on

(4/10)By this time UFO was getting a little too dependent on the keyboards for my tastes. (On the next album they'd get even more dependent, but that's another review.) I always make my decisions about a particular album relative to how many songs I'd pull from it for a home made compilation. With "Making Contact" for the first time I'm sorry to say the answer is none. The disc has an unfortunate layer of hair spray that foreshadows the "hair band" inspired death throes of metal, and while I can't say it completely fails to hold up it's end of the UFO legend, I can't recommend it.
