Usher

Confessions

Talented, Yes...

...but is Usher the God that we make him out to be? No, MTV people, he is not. He is lame, boring, and derivative. And Usher is so caught up in his own sexuality, it makes you wonder what he needs girls for! Usher has always been on the superstardom side, but I never minded him, until Confessions hit store shelves. Oh, and I had seen Burn and Yeah! on MTV and VH1 hundreds of times. Usher is not the musical genius that he, and other people think he is. Smart music buyers do not buy Usher albums. There is no point! Maybe he can dance at a good level, and maybe his chest his so well-molded that he looks like G.I. Joe, but so what? Sex should not sell, but it does, and especially in the rap world, which is by and large my favorite music genre. Usher, you want to know how to woo an audience? Look at a guy like Andre 3000, or even Jay-Z. They are appealing through romance and self-confidence. Oh, and yes, better albums than Usher can EVER make! Most artists don't have to rip their shirt off to woo a crowd, but this pathetic little baby Usher does. Sad? Yes. But let's burn out his songs on our CD players, and then maybe move on, if you already haven't.
