In 2002, Ashanti ruled the R&B scene, in '03 Beyoncé, and now in 2004 Usher is not only the biggest R&B artist, but also the biggest artist in general. His first single "Yeah!" was the biggest song and video at the time, shooting straight to number one! Then he released his 2nd and 3rds singles, "Burn" and "Confessions Pt. II", and they went again to number one. Selling over one million copies in its first week alone, it'd say Usher is defiantly ruling the music scene. But number one songs and CDs, doesn't always mean that the music is really that good. But in this case, it is. Usher, "Confessions", is filled with great R&B tracks, from enjoyable dance songs ("Yeah!", "Caught Up") to sexy slow tracks ("Superstar", "That's What It's Made For"). Every song on his LP is great, and really I don't think I'm alone when I say that. "Confessions" has great vocal performances, lyrics and production. It's possibly the best album to be released this year.
