The second best mainstream R&B of 2004
Review Score:

(8/10)
With Confessions Usher makes it known that he's the king of R&B and he's not going anywhere. At a first listen Confessions really didn't impress me but after seeing Usher on The Truth Tour this past summer I went back and gave the CD another listen I must I was presently surpised at how much I liked it. As always I'll do a track by track break down
1. Intro - Speaks for itself
2. Yeah ! - What Can I say no matter what this is always going to a club song even though I prefer the ATL remix.
3. Throwback - I never really cared for this song and Just Blaze gives us a horrible beat.
4. Confessions (Interlude) - Sets up the self titled song nice little intro
5. Confessions Part 2 - Nice Uptempo although I prefer Part 1 because the beat is slower
6.Burn - An okay pop although I think now it's over played
7. Caught Up - One of the songs I gave a second listen to I really like this one
8. Superstar Interlude - Nice little intro leading up to one of the ballads on the CD.
9. Superstar - One of my favorite songs on the CD and a mixtape favorite.
10. Truth Hurts - Catchy song
11. Simple Things - Another Jam & Lewis gem
12. Bad Girl - After the concert this song kind of grew on me
13. That's What's It Made For - A bangin slow track that always works for me
14. Can U Handle It - Usher's bedroom track and my favorite song on the CD
15. Do It To Me - Usher's tries to give a tribute to Prince and doesn't fail competley.
16. Take Ya Hand - A popish song but not a bad listen
17. Follow Me - The final Jam & Lewis track
18. My Boo - I hate this song and I think that Alicia was the wrong choice to duet with
19. Seduction - My second favorite song from the CD, Jam & Lewis always work wonders
20.Red Light - Usher & Lil Jon reunite for another Club banger
21. Sweet Lies - A Unrealesed Neptunes gem
22. Confessions Part 1 - This should be on the CD instead of Part 1 it really has a message
23. DOT.COM - A very sexual song courtsey of R. Kelly
All in all this is a great CD but can't touch New Edition - One Love
