Monumental Album

Lemme start by not agreeing with all the critics/haters who don't give this album justice. I'm not Usher's fan and have never listened to his previous work, so I'm not biased at all.
This being said, I believe that this album DOES deserve a listen from anybody who likes R&B in general.

'Confessions' isn't great, but it certainly is good. Also I have to say that it IS different from the mainstream stuff out there, with the exception of Yeah! (one of the WORST tracks on the album IMO). I also think that it is a much deeper and replayable record than what we usually get today.

To conclude, you should really forget what everybody is saying and just TRY this for yourself. Chances are that you just might like it like I did. In fact I like it so much that I'll risk saying Usher might be ...the future of R&B :)? Seriously, I think the guy has what it takes to be a REAL artist, and even though he clearly didn't go 100% on this album, it still is worth listening and jusr a SOLID R&B album.
