Leaves lots to be desired

Review Score: StarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStar (6/10)
While it contains its fair share of great songs in the Van Halen vein, the last album featuring Sammy Hagar isn't a classic affair. "Can't Stop Lovin' You" and "Not Enough" are all huge power ballads, classic type songs, and "Feelin'" is a tremendous song, at least a great way to end Sammy's end in the band. In the end though, not a lot of these songs are memorable. "Amsterdam" is a little hard to believe, Sammy singing about smoking weed (although he IS Sammy...), and "Big Fat Money" has fitting lyrics, but is ultimately not too great. I have a soft spot for "Take Me Back (Deja Vu)" however, an awesome song that would have been a big hit. Not their best, but a pretty solid album nonetheless.
