Excellent album!!!

This multi-platinum album was released at a bad time for classic rock music. In 1995, grunge type bands were still on top. "Balance" however is in no way at all a sell-out sound for Van Halen. They stick to their guns on this one and I feel that it is their "heaviest" sounding album to date.(at least on par with the F.U.C.K album) It has a very heavy/full sound with some scorching vocals from Sammy Hagar. Edward Van Halen has a certain tone to his playing that, is unheard on any of their previous albums. All I can say is that it is just awesome to hear and sounds better the louder you play it!! This album is full of killer tunes that you may not know well because of the album's release date.
