Sammy's last hurrah -- classic Van Hagar -- a must have

Van Halen's Balance The last recordings of the Sammy Hagar may just be the best of all. The opening track, "Seventh Seal", is a rock rave-up, offering the bombast Van Hagar fans crave. "I can't Stop Lovin' you" is classic VH pop, which gets the feet tappin'. "Amsterdam", "Big Fat Money", and "Aftershock" are hard rockers that don't let you down. "Don't Tell Me", a hard rocker in the Alice in Chains vein takes the listener into a dark world, complete with guitar pyrotechnics, thumping bass, and Alex Van Halen's signature skin pounding.... Balance ... this isn't your mother's VH, but it might just be better.
