One of Their Best

The whole band, especially Eddie, is in top form for this album. Sammy's been the best singer the band has ever had (They couldn't ditch Dave fast enough in my opinion, and Gary has never been able to handle the job). The only reason this is missing a star is the bland, uninspired piece of radio drivel called "Can't Stop Loving You." Every other track is fantastic. "Not Enough" and "Take Me Back" are short and sweet, and the all-out rock on "Aftershock" and "Don't Tell Me" is some of Eddie's finest work. This is one of Van Halen's best moments of brilliance, and unfortunately it may be their last.
