The most disappointing Van Hagar album

It is my belief the more Eddie Van Halen has control over a VH record, the better it is. "Fair Warning" just showcased his awesome guitar work, and it is my favorite album of theirs as a result. On "Balance" Hagar took total control of the project and the results are disappointing... "Amsterdam" is the absolute worst song this band has ever done, and that one by itself pretty much stains the album. The remainder is strictly average with the exception of "Feelin" (featuring one of the greatest EVH solos) and possibly, "Not Enough", a good ballad. Overall, it's pretty "unbalanced" and doesn't take its title literally.
