Why can't this be GOOD?

Ok, I'll admit it...I bought this for the three new songs. I wish I hadn't. The new songs are lame. So, if they come out with a new album......say in 4 more years, will all the new songs suck like these do?
I want to hear songs like "Me Wise Magic" or "Can't Get This Stuff Anymore". I had high hopes when Roth was (kind of) back in the band.You can feel the Eddy/Dave vibe again on these songs.
Sammy and Ed are capable of good stuff. Listen to "Amsterdam", "Seventh Seal", etc.
So tell me, why isn't this any good???
