The soundtrack of our generation!

(10/10)
Van Halen is the Greatest American Rock Band EVER!!!
Here you have 36 original tracks from both Roth's era and Van Hagar. You will be more than pleased to get classics like Eruption, Ain't talking bout love, Dance the night away, Panama, Hot for teacher;the great covers from Roth's era: You really got me, Pretty Woman and Dancing in the streets; and some of Hagar's best: Dreams, Love walks in, When it's love, Finish what ya started, Poundcake...
The three new tracks(It's about time, Up for breakfast & Learning to see) with Hagar are pretty good, and in my opinion much better than the two David Lee Roth tracks recorded for 1996's Best of Volume I.
I was surprised that they did not included at least "Without You" from Van Halen 3. It's not hard to notice that Van Halen 3 or Gary Cherone are not even mentioned on the discography or the bio. And for me to include the three live tracks was unnecesary. I know it is imposible to include all the great songs in a compilation, but any VH fan will miss Cabo Wabo.
But even if you are a VH fan or not you will remember many if not everyone of the songs in this compilation and how great they still sound. So ignore the bad reviews, this is a must buy. You Will Enjoy It.
**************************************************************
I don't understand all the bad reviews, all the VH albums with Roth were great. Van Halen I & 1984 are Classics. But remember David Lee Roth left the band "20 YEARS AGO" and the only reason we remember him know is because of Van Halen. I'm amazed of how many fans Roth still has, but you never hear anything about his solo career. Roth's career never left the 80's and the band made the right decision replacing him with Hagar. That's why they still playing and recording today with Sammy, and not another 80's band who was forgotten.
