Van Halen

Best of Both Worlds

A Great Collection From A Great Band

Review Score: StarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStar (10/10)
The studio versions of Panama and Jump along with the live versions with Sammy singing the lead is genius because it gives us, (who haven't had the opportunity to see the band live)a chance to hear the Lee Roth era songs done brilliantly by Hagar. He really has an amazing range in his voice and can sound true to the originals. Great choice by Eddie to get Sammy in the band. For those of you who just will not accept Sammy Hagar, I ask this question: What is the name of the band? Lee Roth? No. It's Van Halen. Get over it. Sammy is so much of a better singer and this album proves it.

Being a new fan of the band lately I can't seem to get enough of hearing these guys. The new songs are good, but I wish they would put a full album effort together. I would recommend this CD. I've been wearing it out since I got it as a Christmas gift.
