Why can't this be more?

I think at this point, we can safely say that the glory years are behind us. Though you can only expect so much from a single disc, this really does skim the surface too much. I'm not even a "Van Halen" fanatic, and I can think of numerous missing essential tunes from each singers era. So yes, they should have done the double-disc thing, one Dave, one Sammy. But since that wasn't to be, what we have here is a decent 17 track collection. I guess you could say the "best of the best" is on here, but it still leaves you wanting more. I think the best thing that could've happened to this set, would be to swap the last two "new" songs which are so-so, with classics like "Jamie's Cryin'" and "Finish what ya started". That would make me content. I suppose I can live with this for now, even though 2 cd's really would have been the "Best of both worlds".
