Truly Live

I will agree that one negative is the large number of tracks from the For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge album. Being that this tour supported that album, it was bound to happen, especially since there were only 3 Hagar-era albums to that point.

However, I like the sound -- it makes me feel like I am there and not just an re-recorded studio album. The solos are typical of a Van Halen concert which again makes me feel like I am there. This album is good for those Hagar-era Van Halen fans or a Sammy fan that like live albums. It is meant for a select group, and it delivers to that group.

As an aside, I wish artists/record labels would stop doing albums in the soft CD-covers. Come on -- spring for some plastic already!
